Springtime - Outdoor games

Good afternoon peeps - Yay!  Spring has arrived, my favourite time of the year.  I love seeing the lambs jumping around in the fields and the daffodils and snowdrops flowering and brightening up the day.

The golf and outdoor bowling season kicks off here in Scotland too this weekend, hence this card I was asked to make for a bowler to a bowler...lol...  The decoupage lady bowler is from La Pashe, various Diecuts used for the clouds, fence and number holder.  Coloured papers were out of scrap drawer and sentiment printed off computer.  Peel offs from stash.  The challenges covered are:-

Good Luck Baggage

Evening peeps, apologises for not being on for a while.  I have been making, but nothing to blog.  This card was commissioned for someone leaving the work and the remit was a handbag.  I made this card using a mixture of templates.  I decorated the pockets by using ribbon and Diecut buckles.  The badge was printed from computer, added a blue gem and then coated with Anita's 3D stuff.  The handbag charm is made with a diecut and a Service badge added.  The credit card is one received via junk mail.  The challenges covered are:-

My Favourite Animal - Frogs

I love them....... Don't ask my why ..... All I remember it started when I was about 10 or 11 years old  and since then I'm hooked.  Frogs are plastered all round the house.  Not real ones I may add.

I was actually in two minds to choose to do some of the challenges as a was torn to part with one of my frog stickeroo images .... (Sad, I know) .... As I have had them for years and give them a wee stroke every time I open the craft drawer...lol..

As I've said, I have used a Penny Black Stickeroo image on this CAS card.  Sentiment is from stash and added some light green liquid pearls.  Tools used are Nesties and an embossing folder.  The challenges covered are:-

Nellie the Elephant

This card was inspired by one I saw on the Craftworks Blog as I trying to get ideas for a more adult style elephant due to the stamps that I have are all quiet babyish.  I found the elephant template on the interweb and decorated her with a mixture of gems, brads and liquid pearls.  The challenges covered are:-

Engagement Card

Good Saturday everyone.  Not had chance to play for the next few weeks - well....... Technically not true..... As a few Saturday's ago as was set for a play day and it was a disaster!  I attempted to make three cards and not finished one, on the 1st card I just had the sentiment to print off and the printer decided to brake (still not fixed). So I started on another card, sat and coloured the lovely Daisy, popped her to the side to dry while I made the card base etc.... Went to pop on and she had disappeared!  (Still haven't found her) so my third attempt to create was to make a CAS valentines card, all was going well and finished, then for some strange reason I decided to place it face down on the table while I had my dinner,  came back to discover it was struck to the table and I ripped it trying to separate it..... So I gave up!!!!!

Anyway on a brighter note, this is a card I have managed to complete using a Hunkydory Topper, slizzlits diecut hearts decorated with Pearl Drops, silver ribbon from stash and peel offs for the sentiment.  Embossing folder, I think is called Divine Vine.   I have lost my Divine Swirls embossing folder, which I love, again cannot find it anywhere.  Barry says it is because I have too much stuff! - never!  .... Lol...    The challenges covered are:-

Bottoms Up!

Morning peeps.... Thought I'd share this quirky get well card I made yesterday.  I am so adamant this year in using up as much stuff in my stash and not buying new stuff apart from essentials.... (see how long this will last....lol)..... the colour scheme was roughly based around the sentiment which was leftover from a La Pashe decoupage sheet.  The digi image is from bugaboo, card Candi and ribbon are from stash and the patterned paper is from an old Papermania pack.  The challenges covered:-

Number 5's Alive!!!

Afternoon.... Sneaking on to blog while I am watching the snow falling, it is just very lightly but it is laying due to the ground being so cold.  I am unsure where this image is from as I have a feeling I got it in an image swap many years ago.  The papers are out of scrap drawer and the wording are stickers out of my stash.  Tools used are my Cog and Heart nesties and an embossing folder.  The challenges covered are:-

Under The Weather

Morning peeps!   Yay! It's the weekend....time to play.  The housework is nearly all done... or being ignored...lol... and I am home alone as Barry is having to work.   I made this card last night while dinner was being made - you can take from that comment that I don't cook which is partly true, I hate cooking, the petted lip comes out if I have to do anything in the kitchen...lol

When making cards for stock, I was tend to make quite CAS ones as unsure if people will be posting them.  The stamped image is one of the first ones at bought from Sugar Nellie and coloured her with my pencils.  The papers and card are just out the scrap drawer and sentiment printed from computer.  The challenges covered are:-
